When I heard that Sifu Fong was coming back to the UK for the second time this year, I knew that I had to get there; to yet again get my mind blown for a whole weekend!

Hosted by Sifu Paul Finn at his club ‘108 Wing Chun‘, in Sidcup Kent, it was just a short hop across the Thames to level up my skills.

As ever, Sifu warmed up with some familiar drills, but made sure that everyone took some more in depth aspects away; tailoring the message at a level that individual could understand and implement.

What was especially nice for me, was to spend some time focussing on the second Wing Chun form, Chum Kiu; although I have spent some time on the form before, it was nice to get some extra application and motivation for each of the moves.

As ever, I walked away from the seminar in a state of awe, but also with a renewed enthusiasm to stay patient and keep developing in small increments.
