Saturday 8th October 2011 saw me rush from the Simon Wells Muay Thai Seminar at Laurence Sandum‘s Black Belt Martial Arts Academy in Chelmsford, to meet Peter Squire in Southend-on-Sea to promote his clothing brand Spike Fightwear at the latest Ultimate Warrior Challenge event, “UWC 17″.
Spike Fightwear’s exciting new products seemed to go down at storm at the event, with a number of product lines selling out!
As ever, the caliber of the Boxing, Muay Thai (Thaiboxing) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) at the event was very high, with Spike Fightwear sponsored stand-out fighter Simeon “The Grin” Thoresen retaining his Welterweight Championship Belt, via Rear Naked Choke at just 0:34s of the 1st round.
What next for Simeon? With some of the high level wins he has taken recently, the World is his oyster!
